Who Listens to these Nutcases?

It became apparent to me yesterday as I was reading this article that nutcases actually get results when they spout their ridiculous garbage. The article begins:

A Dunkin Donuts ad featuring Rachael Ray was pulled after conservative commentators argued the talk show host's scarf implied support of Muslim extremism.
Is that not the most ridiculous accusation you've ever heard? Do we have to start worrying about our wardrobe accessories here in America? These people call themselves conservatives, but I think they're just crazy. Are these the same people who see subliminal messages in Disney movies and think that literary masterpieces should be banned if there are sexual references at all. I find it disturbing that these people actually get results, since Dunkin Donuts pulled the online ad.
Here we are, in the midst of a recession, brought on by astronomical gas prices and all these conservatives can find to talk about is Rachael Ray's scarf?? And no one brings them up on the moronic nature of that complaint? It's just a freaking scarf for crying out loud, stop making it something more. Girly girls should not have to worry if their choice of outfit for the day is going to be considered a political statement.
Personally, I think Michelle Malkin just said it because she's jealous of Rachael Ray...the fame, the money....the coffee.
